7.15 pm - The Annual General Meeting of The Friends of St. John the Baptist in Whittington Church. The meeting is open to all.

Tuesday August 5th 2008:
2.30 pm - Whittington Senior Citizens "Get Together" in the Senior Citizen Hall.

Wednesday August 6th 2008:
7.30 pm - Whist Drive with light refreshments in the Senior Citizen Hall.

Tuesday August 12th 2008:
2.30 pm - Whittington Senior Citizens Celebration Party in the Senior Citizen Hall. More information in the magazine.

Tuesday August 19th 2008:
5.00 pm - Whittington Senior Citizens Chicken and Chips evening at Chirk Golf Club . More information in the magazine.
