The four parishes are located near to the A5 trunk road between Gailey Island (The junction of the A5 and A449 road) and the A5/A41 roundabout just west of Weston Park. The parishes are situated in the lovely west Staffordshire countryside, but within easy reach of all the main towns in the area.

Activities

Sunday (every 2 weeks) - KFC (Kids for Christ).
Welcoming children aged 5 - 14 years.Next meeting dates are May 10th, June 14th and 28th

Sunday - C Club for teenagers
C Club meets every other Sunday at 7.00 pm. Next meeting is on May 17th, June 7th and 21st, July 12th . Further dates to be arranged.

Wednesday - Noah's Ark for Mums (& Carers) and Toddlers
Meets at 1.45 pm every other week in St Mary's Church - Next meeting dates are May 13th, June 7th and 21st and July 12th.

Wednesday Drop In
Every Wednesday from 10.00 am — 12.00 noon the drop in centre will be open.

Wednesday - Church Lads & Girls Brigade for 5-21 years
Meets at 6.45 pm during term time in St Mary's First School

Church Lads and Girls Brigade - desperately need new members and helpers. Members can be aged 5-21 years, there are lots of activities and fun, the opportunity to play an instrument, and uniforms are provided. For information please call Jim Cornes on 01785 840939

Thursday - J Team for 7 - 11 year olds
Meets at 3.30 pm in regular four or five week blocks

Thursday - Lapley Bellringers

Services

Thursday May 21st Ascension Day
A service of Holy Communion to conclude the part of the church year that began at Easter at 7.30 pm

Sunday May 31st
This will be a Joint service of Holy Communion, with all four churches worshipping together at All Saints, Lapley at 10.30 am

Historical Society Visit to Lapley and Wheaton Aston

Wednesday Drop in
Every Wednesday from 10.00am — 12.00 noon the drop in centre will be open. Meet a friend for coffee — or come on your own — there is always someone to chat to. A warm welcome awaits you.

Christian Aid Week - May 10th - 16th
Extra collectors are needed as some of our regular volunteers are on holiday. Please contact Anne Wright on 01785 840656 if you could help.

Saturday May 16th Art in the Church
As part of the Wheaton Aston Day of Music there will be an exhibition of art from the local Art Group. Admission is free, tea/coffee/squash and cakes will be on sale all day. A great opportunity to see some of the varied work by the talented artists of the village. - 10.00 am till 4.00 pm

Saturday June 6th Church Fete
12.30 pm - 3.30 pm on St Mary's First School Field.

Saturday June 20th Annual Church Spring Clean
More fun than it sounds when we all get together and attack those hard to reach cobwebs. Plus, we all go to have lunch together at the Hartley Arms afterwards. Everyone welcome.

An Evening of Music and Song
7.00 pm in Blymhill Church.The evening features Pat Lister who will be singing a selection of songs from her professional days with the Ted Heath orchestra, and also Dennis Cornes playing the organ.
