The College Seal The College Seal (present location unknown) was in use about the mid 13th century and depicts the winged figure of St. Michael and has a legend of: - SANCTI MI[CHAELIS] [D]EP... A brass matrix of the seal of the peculiar jurisdiction survives from the 17th century. It is oval, about 50mm long, and depicts a dove on a branch holding another branch in its bill. The legend, roman is: - SIGILLUM DAN‘ PIPER A.M. OFFICIALIS ET COMMISSARII PECULIARIS ET EXEMPTAE IURISDICTIONIS DE PENKRICH
