Friends of St. Michael's
The Friends of St Michael's was set up to raise funds specifically for the upkeep of the Church building and they offer a varied programme of events including: Barbecue, Jumble Sale and Auction.

Fellowship Lunches
These are held in St Michael's Church on the first and third Wednesday in the month (market days) from 12 noon until 2.00 pm. The lunches are open to all and provide an excellent opportunity to reach out and show fellowship and friendship both to our community and to any visitors to the village.

Saturday Morning Coffee
The Church is open every Saturday morning (market day) from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm for coffee/tea and cakes, again a great outreach to the community.

Lent Lunches
These are held in St Michael's Church every Saturday during Lent from 12:30 pm until 2.00 pm. Again these offer lunch and a time of fellowship to the community, raising money for the Bishop‘s Lent Appeal.

Social Outreach Events
A number of events are arranged during the course of the year, both for our regular worshippers and to welcome other members of the community to share with us. A typical year may include: Annual Parish Dinner and Dance, Nearly New Year Party, Skittles Night, Ecumenical Pentecost Celebration and Picnic, Garden Party, Church Fete, Country Walk, Barn Dance, Canal Barge Trip and a Christmas Shopping Trip to Chester.
