Bible Study & Fellowship:
Opportunities exist to join afternoon or evening groups for fellowship, study and prayer. The leaders and locations of these groups change reasonably frequently so the details are printed on our weekly information sheets. Everyone is welcome, just contact the group leader for further details.
Singing Group:
A group that meets approximately fortnightly to sing together. There is no requirement to be an accomplished singer! The group enjoys fellowship and prayer in the informal setting of members' homes. Details are published on the weekly information sheet.
Faith Development & Confirmation Groups:
These groups are organised from time-to-time and current opportunities are clearly advertised. Typically, beside Confirmation preparation these will include Alpha, Emmaus and Ministry Foundation courses such as 'Bishop's Certificate' or 'Foundations for Ministry'.
Caring for the Family:
As Christians we recognise our special calling to minister to those in need, both within the Church and in the wider community. Whilst this happens informally on a one-to-one basis, the Church makes particular and organised provision in identified areas, such as :-
- Home Communion
- Worship in residential homes and day centres
- Visiting the housebound, ill and bereaved
- Marriage & baptism preparation
- Praying daily for the community and individuals
- Working with our local schools
Social Events:
Usually monthly as detailed on the weekly information sheet.
