The Parish of Aldridge
The Parish of Aldridge is a mixed community of about 18,000 people. There are three Anglican churches in the town. The Parish Church (St. Mary the Virgin), situated in the centre of Aldridge, Tynings Lane Church on the Walsall side and St. Thomas' on the Coppy Hall estate. All three buildings are in excellent shape having been either re-ordered or up-graded over the last few years. Although an official Team Ministry is about to come into being, the churches have worked very closely together over many years. Other denominations in Aldridge include Roman Catholic, Methodist and Emmanuel Free Church.
