General Information & Pictures

The Area
PICTURE OF St. Aidan's Jesus Christ is already in every human heart and every human community. In the Bible, St.Paul says this:

"God's plan is to make known his secret to his people, this rich and glorious secret which he has for all peoples. And the secret is that Christ is in you, which means that you will share in the glory of God." So let's help each other to unwrap the gift which God has placed deep inside each one of us - Jesus Christ himself !!

St.Aidan's - Helping People Find Jesus Christ in their Hearts and in their Communities...

St.Aidan's is part of the Blakenall Heath Team Ministry - "Three churches in one parish, working together to grow the Kingdom of God".

The Church
The inside of St. Aidan's St.Aidan's District Church is a small community of people serving the people of Leamore, Forest, Harden, Poets, Goscote and anyone else who wants to join us!

We are based at a multi-purpose church centre on Hawbush Road and not far from the Forest Community Centre.

We subsidise a local 'Tots Care' under 5's project, which uses a specially converted room attached to the Church Centre.

We have excellent links with 2 local schools: Edgar Stammers Primary School and Harden Primary School.

Justice and Care
We send a lot of money to various charities and see this as a major part of our Christian mission and service. Much of this is raised through social events, so why not come along, join in, have a laugh and give a bit to these and other charities that we support:

  • Christian Aid
  • The Children's Society
  • Amnesty International
  • Walsall Society for the Blind
  • The Marie Curie Cancer Appeal
  • Walsall Glebe Centre - Harvest Food Collection
  • Walsall Hospice
