GENERAL

Saint Gabriel's is a 'Forward in Faith' parish which maintains the faith as delivered by the Apostles; proclaimed by the Saints; witnessed to by the Martyrs; taught by the Ancient Councils of the Church throughout the ages; and believed by the larger part of Christendom. A faith that is not compromised by the latest fads of time.

The parish covers the area known as Fullbrook-Delves and Yew Tree Estate, Tamebridge Estate and Poppie Fields Estate. Its borders run down the centre of Broadway West; Broadway and the Birmingham Road from the Boundary Hotel. The Yew Tree Estate, which comprises half the parish, is designated U.P.A.

We attempt to care for the young and to nurture them through our Sunday Schools which meen on Sunday at 10.00 am and our Church Lads and Girls Brigade which meets on Thursdays from 6.30 pm till 8.00 pm. We also have Martins which meet on Tuesdays 5.30 pm till 7.00 pm.

We exercise a ministry of care to the aged and handicapped through our Day-Care Centre which meets every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10.00 am till 4.00 pm. For further information contact Martin on Telephone 01922 647025 and through our Brunch Club which meets on Tuesdays 11.00 am till 1.00 pm and is open to all.

There is also a daughter church on the Yew Tree Estate - The Mission Church of the Annunciation.
