Barr Beacon
Barr Beacon is a local beauty spot and one of the highest points in the area. The war memorial on the top can be seen in the title picture at the top of the page. Here are three views from the top:
1: facing south which shows Pheasey and Park Farm. In the distance can be seen Birmingham City.
2: facing south east which shows a local egg farm.
3: facing west looking towards Walsall

Here we see pictures of the churches old and new:
1: The old Pheasey Methodist Church (1990).
2: New flats on the site where the church stood.
3: The old St. Chad's Church was on the same site as the new Beacon Church.
It was an Ex RAF hut and put there just after the war. St. Chad's church was originally a daughter church of St. Margaret's - Great Barr.
